After a few years since my last visit, Daniel's coffee has really grown to be a balboa park favorite! I love and appreciate their relevant features of drinks like their açaí bowls, matchas and new latte flavors like biscoff. I also want to thank and shout out the barista who so generously let me switch my drink after I ordered. I saw the cold foam on matcha that wasn't written on the menu and I had to try--it was SO GOOD. Can't wait to order another and bring more happy customers next time we meet to run in the area. Thank you!!

Great spot to grab a caffeinated beverage in Balboa Park. I got a lavender chai, which was wonderful. I also got an almond croissant, which was a bit dry and stale-tasting. They were super busy, understandably, so the drink took a bit to come out. But it's a great place to pause and drink something in a lovely little plaza.

Cute coffee shop stand on Spanish Villa. Went before the zoo started and it was a great place to get drinks and wait. We were able to bring the drinks inside the zoo too. The blue lady tasted more like black tea and the extra accent did not really come through. You can order the smaller or bigger size since it's the same price ($3.50). It ended up getting hotter outside and they put it over ice for me easily later. The latte vanilla cold foam stole the show. Sweet, but not overwhelming and could still taste the coffee.

Went for an early morning walk around Balboa Park and stopped off at this coffee cart recommended by my son. I had the iced Mexican mocha and it was really good! Service was fast, the cart is located in an outdoor courtyard that has seating. Really liked the coffee and will definitely come back.

Daniel's coffee cart is located in Balbo Park within the Spanish Village Art Center. This area makes you feel like you're in Mexico, lots of color and art. You will find lots of places to sit and many with umbrellas providing shade. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. Parking is free and the closest lot is on Village Place and Park Blvd. I ordered the Biscoff Crumble Latte for $7.50. It was served ice and was very delicious, almost like dessert in a cup. I arrived close to 3pm so there was very limited food items and I didn't notice a market with any snacks so I recommend bringing some with you if you arrive late like I did.

I come here whenever I can, and I've been going to Daniel's Coffee over the years ever since it was formerly located by The Prado Restaurant. In fact, on my way to Daniel's today (currently at Spanish Village Art Center), I saw Daniel himself on his way out. This was my first time seeing him in many years and it made me realize how much time has passed. I'm such an introvert, I didn't say anything, Lol. I never knew him on a small-talk basis, but many years ago, due to the nature of my job at the time, his coffee cart was my go-to whenever breaks were spent at Balboa Park. I often recommended his cart to guests and visitors. This was long before we had things like ordering online, tap-to-pay, seasonal flavors, and rewards points, all of which Daniel's accommodates these days. As for today's visit, I had an Iced Biscoff Crumble Latte and it was soooo goood! The baristas are awesome and drinks are always of excellent quality. The ambiance of Spanish Village is colorful, spacious, and pleasant, so great place to sit for a bit and enjoy your coffee.

Was pleasantly surprised at Daniels Coffee taste! Ordered the açaí bowl and a pumpkin horchata latte. I think my entire group enjoyed their coffee. Great service too! Perfect spot for a spot like this, what a GEM!

Not too busy on an early Sunday morning. Service was quick. I got the pumpkin spice latte half sweet and it was very good. The smell and aroma made it that much better. Coffee shop in the heart of Spanish village. A couple tables but not too many spot.

I love going to Daniels Coffee when I do resident free tuesdays at Balboa Park or before heading to the zoo. I am addicted to their Biscoff Crumble Latte and I used to go here religiously when I lived closer by. Recently, I decided to try their cherry cream cold brew but hated the combination of cherry & coffee so I went back and they immediately made a new drink for me. They even went out of their way to find me when the drink was finished. Located inside the Spanish Village Art Center, Daniel's Coffee is a gem in the heart of balboa. Price: $ (employee discounts for park employees - zoo & balboa - must show verification) Recommendation: Biscoff Crumble Latte Location: Right next to SD Mineral & Gem Society because they are a true gem ;)
